Caught in that uncomfortable space between being a girl and full-fledged womanhood, Dana is a 31-year-old chick who lives with her eight-year-old daughter and their two-year-old cat. Her hobbies include writing, reading, music, the eternal quest for knowledge (read: lifetime student status), and self-deprecation.
An underemployed freelance copywriter in an oversaturated market, Dana has some stuff, mess, and junk to get off her chest after (and due in large part to) having forged an accidental career in healthcare finance.
Oh - she also plays keyboards for Shortwave Dahlia. Everyone wants a chick in a band. There’s no point in denying it.

No, Emperor Banana Ketchup… by all means, please do get started. It’s part of the reason I started this thing. Of course, I’ll be dooced before long, I’m sure. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Terminated for describing the systems inefficiencies? That would truly be a terrible thing. But then, something similar happened to me, although I didn’t blog about it. Just know you’ve got supporters out here.
